RT-N66U security fix support EOL?

I haven't seen a firmware update fixing any CVE's for quite some time. I think the latest firmware was released back in July 2016. Any chance of the 4xxx series builds making their official way to the N66U? I noticed the 56U got one recently, maybe it's just a matter of time.

I was hoping it wasn't just EOLd and I need to move to unofficial firmwares (erk..nothing against Merlin) or buy an new router.

Hello, good morning, for a few weeks I get this log on the router. The Ip is from a Smart Samsung Tv, does anyone know what it can be?

ASUS RT-AC1900P Firmware version 3.0.0.4.380.7266

This version is listed on the Asus website for the RT-AC1900P, but without description of changes. Also, when checking for new firmware from my router, it says that my version 380.4164 is the latest.

How do I know that 380.7266 is the latest released version?

Asus tech support was no help on this...

These bugs are pretty old but I decided to report only now. Actually they don't break any functions but just don't look good.

1) The main page of OpenVPN Servers has misplaced "Default" button in some non-English languages such as Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Spanish, Polish and maybe some else.

2) Also there's a wrong letter used in Russian word on the button 'Export'
There's "Зкспорт" instead of "Экспорт" that reads like 'Zxport' in English.

Asuswrt Official - RT-AC68U - Turn Off LEDS - Cron Job

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to turn off all of the LEDS on the AC68U using cron jobs in the Asuswrt stock firmware for AC68U?

I know it can be done on Asuswrt Merlin (stealthmode) and Shibbys Tomato via a modified script but i was wondering if i could run some commands via a cron job to turn off the LEDS at a set time and back on in the official firmware.

Hi all,


I have DSL-N14U B1 Modem/Router from Origin Broaband and it comes with:
DSL Driver Version FwVer:3.20.56.24_A_TC3087 HwVer:T14.F7_11.2
Firmware Version 1.1.1.2_origintest_20161122

but no option to "UPGRADE" to any version (option is missing) as well as SSH option is missing.

I want to upgrade to latest one "ASUS DSL-N14U Firmware version 1.1.2.2_17 (This product supports both Annex A and Annex B)"

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge & AC87U MU-MIMO Link Rate Drop

So according to many sites Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has full support for MU-MIMO how can you tell if its working in MU-MIMO mode with AC87U? With MU-MIMO deactivated S7 was connecting at 836mbs and with MU-MIMO activated its connecting at 433mbs.

RT-AC87U Firmware 3.0.0.4.380_7266 - Port Forwarding Issues?

Hello there,

Anyone else experiencing port forwarding issues with the new firmware 3.0.0.4.380.7266?
Following the update from the previous firmware, port forwarding worked briefly for me but as soon as I made any change to port forwarding it no longer works, at all... nothing is being forwarded.
Now I can't seem to forward anything. Any ideas?

This also happens in previous firmware versions... been getting frequent issues on a large shared drive, causing the shares to all become 'read-only'. Hopefully Merlin can convince Asus nag Tuxera to fix this as it's quite detrimental :^)
