Does win 10 random MAC function still workable with ASUSWRT?
I set random MAC function in my win10. my wifi card is AC8260,automatically connect my router.
I newly bought AC66U-B1 as my router.I notice MAC address is always same even I restart computer or reboot router.
Is that means ASUSWRT cannot support win 10 random MAC function?

AiMesh: RT-AC68W & RT-AC68U
I've had an RT-AC68W for about 18 months now since I moved into my house. I recently rearranged the basement and have created a deadspot in the Master Bedroom so I bought an ASUS Refurbished RT-AC68U from Newegg to appease my wife.
I have now spent almost 6 hours and I cannot for the life of me make AiMesh work. I've had both Routers Upgraded to the latest Firmware and now downgraded them both back to older firmware but nothing can get the AC68W to detect the AC68U(I did try the other way...

Development suggestion of user-defined Qos

Look at this user-defined Qos rule setting, there's no way to move item up and down.Which means if you want to change the order, you need to delete items and add them again.

AiMesh in AP mode connected via WAN ?
Will it work to make the ethernet connection of 2 routers in AP mode (one main other node) both via their ethernet WAN ports to a router (LAN ports of provider router-modem)?
Or do I have to connect node WAN to LAN-port of the main-AiMesh router?

AiMesh doesn't work
Hi,
I have two Asus routers, the RT-AC86U set as the main mesh router and the RT-AC68U which I am trying to set as the mesh node, but, so far I have been unsuccessful. I tried resetting both routers to factory settings, changed IPs, nothing worked. It does seem that the AC86U sees the RT-AC68U for a brief moment, but then it fails to connect to the mesh network (the 'node detected' icon disappears and the wheel spins forever).
I have followed the steps properly, so is there a known problem...

I have an aimesh setup, and would like to connect an external hdd to one of the aimesh nodes. but, when i do this, the drive doesn't come up under the webgui when i connect to the main aimesh router. it will only show up if i connect the external hdd to the main aimesh router.
how can i use an external hdd, but have it connected to an aimesh node? thanks again in advance!

I was wading into the apparently banned-for-discussion issue of upflashing the tm-ac1900, and I noticed that the instructions involve a blind processing of one's image by cfeditor.pipeline.sh, neither the owner nor the location of which can I find, and which was created in January. This seems rather odd - did I miss a memo from Big Brother?

[SOLVED] Help! Cannot connect AC68U to my AC86U as aimesh node
Quick background
- 86U brand new just purchased and ensured it has latest firmware for aimesh
- 68U older router running v24/2014 flavor of dd-wrt. Used Asus Recovery to flash latest firmware to 68U. The first time I flashed the router was very slow so I did a factory reset in the Asus UI itself and then reflashed the firmware a second time and it seems fast and stable.
THE PROBLEM
- Everything seems happy; I power on the 68U and when I click aimesh in the 86u host router...

GUI on AiMesh Node
I have a pair of RT_66U B1 in a AiMesh pair.
192.168.1.1 Mesh Router
192.168.1.18 Mesh Node
When I try to access the GUI at 192.168.1.18 it seems to redirect me to the GUI on 192.168.1.1 instead.
However, when I telnet to those 2 IPs I get the right boxes. Is there a way to access the GUI on the Mesh Node or am I'm not supposed to do that?

Hey Asus Update your GT5300 to the 942 I'm sick of the issues with 648.
Lets see $400 dollar router never gets updates? All other models get it the GT is left in the dust with the horrid 648 that has so many issues it's a nightmare. I'm about to throw out 2K worth of asus routers and switch to another brand because of your crap update times on your top of the line model.

New user, been reading tons of threads and posts in order to troubleshoot my own issues. Wanted to give something back by detailing my own Aimesh experience.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum - admin, feel free to move my post.
So;
House: Approx 1.720 square feet (160 kvm) - with a tricky angle thus wireless signals can barely reach from one side to the other
Router 1: ISP (due to IP TV and fiber - disabled wireless) router - IGW 3000 - pass through switch
