Has my RT-AC68U been hacked? Odd 2-Way IPS hits!

Hi all.

I had a look at my RT-AC68u router firmware this morning and noticed under the 2Way IPS protection page that I have had some Client Device Infected hits. Well this sent me into panic mode thinking my laptop had some malware, however the laptop has had a full scan with latest definitions and appears clean and oddly enough nothing is being listed under the "Infected device prevention and blocking page" leading me to believe it could be the router itself.

Hi, I'm having trouble with my Asus dsl-ac55u modem/router as airprint doesn't work! When trying to print from my iphone to my HP6500a, I get the message 'no airprinters found'. Printing from any windows laptop is fine.

Reading from other forums the problem lays with the multicast / snooping function. When changing any settings here, airprint seems to work but only for a few minutes. Same when I reboot the router: 10-20 minutes ok, then it drops out. Also tried to assign the printer to a...

I have a number of ASUS routers I have updated to firmware versions 3.0.0.4.382.50470 or 50702 - these are typically older routers like the single core AC66U/R, N66U/R, AC1750, etc. With the these two firmware versions, the OpenVPN passwords are hidden in the Username/Password table, and a "-" appears in the Password column for all entries.

Of concern: after running for a number of weeks, and then entering a new client username and password, all passwords except for admin and the newest...

A long-time lurker of the great info on this site but first time post. I found it interesting that all the best discussions and was going to post of my issue until I solved it. I read up quite a bit on this before jumping in but still cannot get it to work. I was thinking I might have some performance issues but not an issue actually getting it to work.

I was happily using an RT-AC1900P as my main router with various switches and a few AP's hanging off of it.

Why is my router blocking this one web page?

For some reason, starting 2 days ago, I can no longer access this web page, it's the login page for the Playstation Network: https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/liquid/external/auth/login.action

When I go to the page I get: Error, This page can't be displayed. Contact support for additional information. The incident ID is: n/a

I also cannot connect to PSN from my PS4 console, though my focus is on getting the above web page working because I'm sure the problems are...

I am trying to learn the ways of QoS, in order to improve VOIP calling. As recommended, I have installed the great script by @FreshJR, and am using adaptive QoS with manual download/upload bandwidth numbers. I am using stock firmware, because I am running AiMesh. My ultimate goal was to have bufferbloat scores of A+, but I have spent many hours over several months changing the numbers and running speed tests on DSLreports, and can't raise my bufferbloat above an "A"....

Bought brand new from CraigsList -- box never opened. Intentionally did NOT connect upstream/WAN cable. At first, just wanted to measure Wi-Fi signal strength / range. Powered-up, confirmed Wi-Fi lights are lit. But an Android app for measuring Wi-Fi, AND Android built-in "Available Networks" screen, AND Windows "View Available Wireless Networks" function, ALL show no SSID being broadcast.

Is stock firmware stable?

I just installed an RT-AC86U. I have 32 wireless devices connected. I have ATT fiber.

I noticed that my connection gets intermittently stalled and slowed down. Plus sometimes the router web interface gets slow. Is this normal for the Asus stock firmware?

I know there’s Merlin but I was hoping to not have to learn something new since I am still trying to figure out Home Assistant.

Let's Encrypt Unable To Renew Due To Port 80 Closed

I switched ISPs recently and now port 80 is closed and Let's Encrypt is unable to renew.
Looking for a way now to circumvent this, any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is just to share an observation some might know to expect... my AiMesh wireless backhaul is barely a steady 4 bars, but turning on an attached USB 3.0 HDD drops it to 3 bars.

Blue Cave(AC2600) did not work the node of AC1900P

Hello.

I bought a Blue Cave but I got a problem.

I am using two router which are AC1900P and RT68U by AiMesh.

And, AC1900P was set by AiMesh Router mode, RT68U was Node.

And then, I bought a new router Blue cave because of using Node of AC1900P.

But, It was failed by the picture below.

A AC1900p could find Blue cave, when the process reaches 100% shows a failure message on 3rd picture.

So, what can I do to solve this problem?

I recently decided to go full-retard and on a recent trip to the US I bought a GT-5300, an RT-5300 and an RT-AC88U. My idea is to set up an AiMesh network with the GT5300 as primary, the RT5300 as a wireless node and the AC88U as a wired node.

I didn't have any issue setting up the GT5300, updated all firmwares to latest, the RT5300 seems to be detected and joined without a hitch, but I simply cannot get the main router to detect the AC88U in the node search. I've tried wireless and wired,...

Hello!

I need to connect my Qnap NAS to the AC88U router with both ethernet lan.

I configured the link aggregation on asus router (lan port 1 and 2) and also on the nas side.

During the configuration on the qnap nas it ask me for "desired hash policy for 803ad trunking" and I can choose beetwen:

Layer 2 (MAC)
Layes 2+3 (MAC+IP)
